I was lucky enough to be given a sneak peak of CS6. I own the Mac Pro listed below. I can tell you its runs great. The new Adobe Transmit allows me to run client sessions with an external monitor using REGULAR sequences using CUDA. I haven’t had any crashes yet. Dynamic link is rock solid now. Sorry Jim, my hands on experience differs from your speculative one. Your experience of CS6 will be a result of how well your computer utilizes the MPE. My old Mac Pro shines .

In CS6 this has all been resolved. Just create a regular sequence and with the magic of Adobe Transit (built into the PrP software) it will playback through third party hardware like my Kona 3 with ease. And you get all the CUDA goodness from that sequence as well. A major achievement!

As I understand it,CUDA has nothing to do with playback of regular clips .

The only limit is the performance capabilities of your edit system when playing various kinds of codecs.
