Playback though HD tV through Blackmagic HDMI OUT
Posted by Greg Burke on April 5, 2012 at 2:54 amCan’t seem to figure it out, IN final cut its rather simple PPRO seems to be a little different. Any thoughts on how I can get A feed though the HDMI out for my Client Monitor? Thanks!

April 5, 2012 at 6:11 amInstall the BMD drivers for Adobe. And then use a BMD sequence setting. CS5.5 only outputs via the hardware when you use a sequence setting for that hardware.

April 5, 2012 at 10:51 amDid you install CS After you already had the BMD installed?
Then, install the latest BMD driver after installing CS.
Then, use a BMD sequence when creating a NEW sequence and it will feed out the card.Chris Tompkins

April 18, 2012 at 2:59 pmYou have to start with a BMD sequence, in the “New Sequence” section for it to play out the card.

April 18, 2012 at 3:44 pmIn CS6 this has all been resolved. Just create a regular sequence and with the magic of Adobe Transit (built into the PrP software) it will playback through third party hardware like my Kona 3 with ease. And you get all the CUDA goodness from that sequence as well. A major achievement!
