Sorry Eric, Im not interested in building my own. Im an editor, not a computer builder 😀
The machine you spec out doesn’t have enough power for Red and Epic projects I may find myself doing in the future. And not enough ram for AE projects as well .I also dont overclock systems that are running almost 24/7 in my bay.
Its great if that works for you, but I will stick with the Genesis 2 from Puget or a system reasonably similar.

Sorry you guys had such a bad experience. Mine is quite different. Maybe its a machine thing. Premiere and AE create a workflow for my projects that is unbeatable.
Bottomline, Working with FCP X to me was like editing on drugs with my fingers broken. Nasty!
But Im a firm believer that everyone is allowed there own preferences and I wish you well. 😀

Quadro 4000 helps out Premiere with CUDA acceleration of certain functions.
It also helps when creating extruded text in the ray trace environment in After Effects.
Read up so you know what to expect from it.
