Then I suggest deleting Preferences for PrP (booting up with shift and option keys depressed) for starters. See if that brings it back.

It would be welcome. Thats one of many things that impressed me about Blender. Both the display AND the output renderer are GPU accelerated.

I did phrase the question to include both processes, but maybe that wasnt clear to the person I asked. I guess its a moot point for now. But I would hope they would develop both based on my Blender experience. It is blazingly fast with my GTX 570.

Funny, I always use the space bar to play the timeline. I wasnt aware the Return key also had that function.

Well that suggests that the problem is not systemic (ie PrP) but more related to the sequence and/or the media within.

The next thing I would try would be deleting the Media Cache files and the Preview files in their respective folders. Then boot up PrP and try duplicating. Its the stadard series of things I do when stuff like this happens.

Can you duplicate other sequences in the manner you described or is the problem only with one?

I guess for that matter it could have even been done in Cinema 4D 😀

For media related quirks like this, I find a good place to start is to find your Media Cache folder and your Preview Files folder. Go into each one and delete all the files. Then boot up PrP and let it index all the files before you start using it.

    See if that helps.

April 19, 2013 at 8:16 pm in reply to: Dynamic link suddenly not working!

I have found that issues I had with dynamic link in 5.5 arent a problem in 6.0. So if you are anticipating an upgrade , this might motivate you to do so.

All in all, in 6.0 DL is much more robust and reliable.

Yes, its CS6. Did you check the AE Preset folder to see if the Twitch Presets folder is in there. You have to place it their yourself when you bought it. Did you? If not, do it 😀
