Not quite sure what you are wanting exactly. Whether you want the black or the white from A. But if you put B on Layer 1, place A on layer 2. Resize layer 2, since they are different sizes. Then select transfer mode – Multiply to leave the black, or screen to leave the white. Darken and Add both work as well, but I prefer Multiply and Screen.
Hope that’s what you were looking for!
    Good Luck!

I’d check the frame rate of the screen record. QT records 15 fps.

Sounds like that one scene may be a different frame rate. You may get some drift with that. May need to modify/interpret that footage.

November 21, 2013 at 4:17 pm in reply to: Question About Dynamic Link

I think the easiest way to achieve that is to duplicate your comp in AE and make your changes, import that Comp using Dynamic Link into PPro, duplicate your PPro sequence, and drop in the new Dynamic Linked AE Comp in PPro. Next time you open that Sequence, it will have the new AE Comp and all your other Comps and Sequences will be intact.
    Good Luck!

You have the overall Blending Options highlighted. Click on Color Overlay and you will see color selection.

You can undo or try opening your autosaves.

In PPro, go to File menu, go to Adobe Dynamic Link, select Import after Effects Composition. If the AE project was created in an old version of AE, you may need to open it in AE and resave.
    Good Luck!

I’ve had that happen in CS5 before, usually on keyframes, and the first keyframe would somehow change to a scale value of zero. Could never figure that one out. Happened a few times. Haven’t seen it in CS6.

SWEET! I was able to get it opened in CS5 on Win7 at home! Good thing I’ve been lacking on the upgrades there! Thanks all!
