Every time you move it there is another behind it? Like perpetually? Move one, move the next, move the next, and so on and so forth? HA! That would make me crazy! I would suggest you trash your preferences.

To restore default preference settings, hold down Alt (Windows) or Option (Mac OS) while the application is starting. You can release the Alt key or Option key when the splash screen appears.

Trying to figure this out… have you tried to Group clips? Select your clips, right-click on them, select Group. You can still trim and such. Is that what you are getting at?

If you are making the text in Photoshop, just set the font size larger in the character palette. You can also Vertically Scale it in photoshop from the Character Palette.

I was going to suggest not sending to AME and just export from the settings dialog in PPro.
It will tie up PPro while rendering, but that has gotten me past some weird issues when I needed to.

Be prepared for frustration then. You start putting many of those files into a PPro sequence, you better have patience.

I usually just use the plus (+) and minus (-) keys to zoom in and out of the timeline at the CTI – not the Plus and Minus on the numeric keypad. Also Forward Slash (\) to show entire sequence.

AE would handle all those large images a whole lot better than PPro.

In order for Warp Stabilizer to work without leaving black edges popping up all around your video, it needs to Scale up. It you scale video larger than it is originally, you will get some quality loss. The more it scales up, the more quality loss.

There’s a drastic drop in quality when you render AE comps? What settings are you using? Have you tried ProRes or DNxHD or some other high quality output?
Just render out your AE comp to ProRes, drop it on our Sequence, and good to go!
