I think it really depends on the system – hardware, os, plugins… I am up-to-date with Adobe CC on a late 2013 Mac Pro running Mojave 10.14.5 with no real issues.

Doesn’t Apple Photos create one library file that contains all your photo/video files? I would try getting the files you want to edit with out of there and onto a drive in a regular folder structure so PPro can locate them to relink.

Kind of depends, but usually in recording. I have a Zoom recorder that caught me once when it recorded with phase issue. Easy fix in Audition though. And easy to see in Audition – Phase Meter and Phase Analysis.

I’m with Oliver. Latest updates and no problems on Late 2013 MacPro with Latest Mojave. Lot of bugginess may not come from Adobe, but everything that interacts with it – plug-ins, hardware, os, etc.

Did this start after an update? Try rolling back to an earlier version of PPro.

Have you closed PPro and reopened it? I’ve had controls disappear before and closing the app and reopening usually takes care of it. If it doesn’t you may need to trash your preferences. https://forums.adobe.com/thread/2126506

So you’re on Sierra? OSX v10.12? What version of Premiere? For Premiere 13.1 and newer, Adobe has OSX 10.12 as the very minimum. OSX 10.13 High Sierra or newer for hardware acceleration.

PPro didn’t update in that timeframe, did it? That would be about the only thing I could think of that could possibly do that.

You shouldn’t have to format it. Should already be fat32, unless it’s already been formatted to something else before. I would stick with the Fat32 format. Most devices should be able to read it.

If you want to jump so many frames use the + or -. If you know your timecode, just type it. Works in timeline, program window, or preview. One caveat… I can only do it from my numeric keypad on my Mac. I can do it from the top row, if I click on the timecode display.
