There is no single video format that is natively played in all web browsers like the image formats in Photoshop’s Save For Web are. Determine what video player your audience will be using and export for that.

BTW, FLV is almost never the right choice. For Flash Player, use the more modern F4V unless you have a specific reason not to.

Particle effects (and many other things) behave differently at different preview resolutions. Compare the preview at full quality/resolution to the final output and then get back to us.

I recommend against putting much effort into trying to use Photoshop 3D in After Effects. We removed this feature from After Effects a few versions ago; it never worked well.

Instead, I recommend using a 3D application like Cinema 4D and its integration with After Effects.

Tell us what kind of difference we’re supposed to be looking for.

Also, the first thing that leaps out at me is that the preview is at quarter resolution.
