Apple does not make or provide a ProRes encoder for Windows.

  • Some effects take a long time to render. It is not unusual for a single frame to take minutes to render—for example, when working in 3D or if certain effects are used.

If you had a computer with more RAM, then I’d recommend that you use Render Multiple Frames Simultaneously multiprocessing in After Effects to render and export the parts that you need from After Effects.

See this page for resources about making Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects work faster: https://adobe.ly/eV2zE7

That video is mostly made of still images (very likely created in Illustrator) that are layered on top of each other and moved. The drawing and other work in Illustrator is crucial.

If, however, you want to get a somewhat similar look from live-action video, you can start with the Cartoon effect:

October 17, 2013 at 11:23 pm in reply to: After Effects Project with Dynamic Link won’t open

Open the Premiere Pro project that contains the Premiere Pro sequences that are dynamically linked. Then open the After Effects project.

The reason that this can help is that it is sometimes the launching of the headless version of Premiere Pro to serve the dynamic links to After Effects that is the problem. If you have a full version of Premiere Pro running, it can do the work of serving the sequences to After Effects.

Yes, we’re working on fixing this bug.

October 17, 2013 at 11:05 pm in reply to: C4D Upgrade with After Effects

Unfortunately, we didn’t get this right with the After Effects CC (12.0) release. Which application is used for Edit Original is apparently random (actually dependent on installation order).

Fortunately, we’ve fixed this in After Effects CC (12.1), which we’ll be releasing soon. You can now explicitly set which edition and version of Cinema 4D to use for certain tasks. Details are here:

    > I’m working with AE CS6 on PC, so I think those solutions doesn’t work for me.

I’m confused about why you would say that.

The page that I linked to is a bout one possible solution, but it links to a page with many other troubleshooting steps—which are relevant for all operating systems.
