As Walter says, Pro Import After Effects (from Automatic Duck) is now included with After Effects.

I show how to use it in this video:

  • Nest your master composition in 12 different new HD compositions, each with the master composition positioned within the containing composition to reveal the right portion of the image. Export the 12 HD compositions.

  • There is nothing in application space that can cause a kernel panic. That can only be caused by items that have access to the kernel, such as drivers. The fact that the problem occurs mostly when you are using a lot of applications at once suggests that the heavy use of some resource (e.g., the GPU) is causing bad behavior in interaction between the OS and a driver (e.g., a video/graphics driver).

I have seen several inconclusive threads about problems with graphics drivers on Mac OS X v10.9.3, so this further leads me to suspect that the issue may be in that area.

Adobe Media Encoder will be available as a separately downloadable and installable item in the upcoming version, which is due for release very soon.

  • Show a screenshot of your Effect Controls panel in After Effects with the Remove Grain effect’s properties exposed.

How, exactly, are you using Dynamic Link? What is the exact sequence of steps that you took?

(BTW, it’s “Dynamic Link”, not “Direct Link”. They are very different things.)
