Agreed! Major slowdowns – and Adobe Typekit keeps trying to resolve a conflict even though I have it shut off in CC. Spinning beachball trying to resolve that and xml imports given me lengthy beachballs. HUGE timewaster!!!!!

happens with h264 or ProRes. Big Raid drive more than capable of handling the throughput

Thanks for the responses. For me cost really is a factor as I’m in Canada and our dollar is in a nosedive at the moment. I think the BM series will be fine for my work. Thanks again!

Sheesh I forgot all about Bridge. Looking through it, it could work but is there a way to set the poster frame for the thumbnail? Some of them show up black or a part of the video that isn’t representative of the content.

I have read elsewhere that it is adviseable to get the whole bundle instead of just the Tk. How often do you use the Kb and Bt panels? Seems like it would be just as easy (easier?) to tweak the interface controls for that no? You still have to grab the mouse to use curves, draw freehand masks or use the offset wheel and in my mind it would be way easier to use the mouse for sizing windows.
