thanks for the tip, I just did the same meanwhile. Anyway, making a screenshot and paste into PS to get a color means something similar to heading back to stone age to me for some reason. 😛

Also still don’t understand why the developers don’t give us a switching option (hold down a key) to make velocity envelope not to mess up the whole track when trying to move a track dragging from the right edge.

    Thank you for your help!

I just can’t find that Properties window that contains rgb code. If I rightclick on the event and click on Properties at the bottom it doesn’t show the code. if I open the event the “Sony Titles & Texts” panel show up and there is a color table with so many variations of color formats and next to my text color it says “1,0; 0,93; 0,7; 1,0” but couldn’t figure it out how can I use this “code” in Photoshop. 🙁

This color picker isn’t from Vegas, right?

I need a color code from Vegas to use it in Photoshop.
To be more simple: I want to use a color in Photoshop that I used in Vegas before. How can I get the code from Vegas?

Thanks for the tip John, I meant it’s not that easy because the alpha channeled front picture messes up the ray prints. However I managed to solve this issue by adding a third image of a flat mix of the two involved image and then used the rays plugin with the “Effect only” option.

    It’s close, thanks a lot!
To being more clear, I got an image similar like this:
    https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/d/d5/Wilhelm_Gross-4.jpg

and another image with a bright sun. I want to move the sun slowly behind so it prints moving shafts on the black ground area to get a result like this but animated:

If that’s possible to do in either PS or Vegas would you tell me how can I do it, please.

    Hello!

Thank you for reply, however that isn’t what I’m looking for. I need to use the Velocity because I have to create a speed-up (acceleration) at the begin of the Event and slant transition. The playback rate or control+drag affects the whole event and I need those transitions at the bow and end.
