Thank you!
Could you please help me how can I clear the VEGAS cache? Do I need to delete cache files in the C:\Users\…\AppData\MAGIX / Vegas / Sony, etc folders or C:\ProgramData\MAGIX, etc folders or it’s the program’s own directory?

Thank you very much!
It’s a nice way to correct the glow, I was able to reproduce it on the original pictures, even if they become too contrasted, they’re still good.
For the last tip “To get the color closer to the original, you can overlay the original image in Color blend mode.” I was confused, where should I set it in.
Also wondering how to avoid that kind of glow in events shot in community centers and similar places. I used the automatic function (without flash) of my D5300 for these photos but I have only kit lenses. Does that mean it’s unable to shot those events without that glowing? It’s because the kit lense?

Thank you so much, Graham, this works fluently. I’m already on the tweaking. ☺
Thank you for the generous help & assistance!

Yes, it would be nice if you could remove the CF2 part.
I have the basic ColorFast NB plugin however, I don’t know if it’s good to replace with. -
Well, because the price $99 is a bit expensive for me at the moment and I couldn’t find any other method to obtain it.
The .veg stops loading halfway at the point when it doesn’t find the CF2 plugin. From there, it doesn’t load any further plugin, so I see only the first two FX in the “Video Event FX” window: the “Levels” and the “Neat Video” (Neat is set to use the “Default” filter settings (60% lumi, 100% chrom, 0% sharp))
-
I was unsuccess to obtain NewBlue’s ColorFast 2 plugin so unfortunately the *.veg file failed to load every filters after the Neat Video one. Thank you anyway, Graham.

This seems quite good for my needs!
Could you elaborate what did you set in the rest of the used plugins? I mean which noise filter settings used in Neat, which ColorFast and Corrector presets, etc.

I did the nesting, but a new error popped up.
While the preview window shows everything fine, the rendered video has some flickering / blinking right after I chance the “X center” (in the Pan/Crop) to “0” on the already nested project. (please see the attached video:)
I tried various things, like changing the alpha display method, or render with 30 fps instead of 29,97. None worked, it’s still blinking the original (centered) panel. Then I changed the test.veg’s 3D settings “Y Rotation” from the originally used -139.0 degrees to -90 and from the original Rotation X Offset 970 to 960. I made a new nested project from that – meaning that maybe the extra unneeded degrees causes this bug -but it’s still blinking.
One thing I noticed, if I reduce width/height of the already nested and aligned clip even by only 1 pixel (in Pan/Crop) then the blinking stops and it renders correctly.
Do you know what causes this?

I didn’t hear about Nesting at all until now but it works indeed.
As always, you’re very helpful, John, thank you for your aid!
