    Hello,

I’m looking for a solution on how can I set Envelope->Velocity to be affected only the selected Event.

I have a video that I separated into 3 events and I want to change the Velocity (speeding up) ONLY of the middle event. When I’m trying to do that the application handles the 3 events as a whole and pulls content from the last events into the middle one.

On the middle event, place the cursor at the end of it, hold down the Ctrl key and drag it backwards (increases speed) the desired amount.
You can achieve the same thing by right clicking the video event, selecting Properties and changing the Playback rate. If you do it this way, you’ll have to shorten the event on the timeline so that it doesn’t repeat. Look for the inverted V at the top of the event and drag backwards to that point.

    Hello!

Thank you for reply, however that isn’t what I’m looking for. I need to use the Velocity because I have to create a speed-up (acceleration) at the begin of the Event and slant transition. The playback rate or control+drag affects the whole event and I need those transitions at the bow and end.

In that case, put the event on it’s own track.

Oh well, I never thought it’s that simple ^^ It’s in the proper topic at least. 🙂

    Thank you very much!
