I’ve found the free Windows Media Encoder does a better job of making WMVs. Download that from the Microsoft site and just render out your comp as a Microsoft DV AVI file. Then, load that into WME and off you go!

Do you want the outline around the actor during motion or just during a still?

Also, capture the actor in front of a green screen if you can. That will make things much easier.

I have used a little random renamer program in the past for this.

It will take a folder of pix and rename them numerically while randomizing them and copy them into a new folder. It takes an extra step and some hard drive space, but it’s automated and easy.
