Well as usual, I post something on the cow and figure it out 2 seconds later.

To answer my own question. Select the object, go to the “basic” Tab.
Go to “Use Color” and switch to “Off” or “Automatic”.

There is a version of QT that works with Lion but it didn’t install a QT pref…

Headache, well I’ll work with the Animation codec instead… I’ll just have to wait for longer final cut renders… Oh Joy…

Yeah I saw that and I’m wondering if Lion destroyed my quicktime 7 prefs cause they’re not there and QT 7 is not supported. However PNG is not in their list.

Crazy what an OS upgrad can do.

That’s a great suggestion and I actually did that… however some of these apple fonts are system fonts and when I try to disable them they let me know of that fact.

I was wondering if there was something else I could do..

Unfortunatly the basic text effect doesn’t allow me to change fon’t sizes in certain parts..
for example i need to write something like Anyd Irons (HAW) and the (Haw) needs to be 4 points smaller..

but the text effect does play smooth.. it’s just the text layer won’t animate smooth..
