Is there a way to know the progress of a “make preview” render?

Or do just have to sit there and wait?

Can you continure to work while the make preview is in progress?

    Thanks!

progress should be down on the lower-left – if that spot isn’t being used to tell you something else but it will come back eventually. Yes, you can work

Huh, I’ve got nothing in the lower left. Anyway to turn it on? R12 on a Mac.

it’s on by default in every single window layout, but it is possible to get rid of it if you are using a custom layout. It’s the same area that gives you feedback for every tool you roll over the area that says “Move Tool [Shortcut E]” if you mouse ever the Move tool etc. etc. etc.

Somehow I lost it on my startup layout. Found it when I switched to the default animation layout.

    Thanks!
