Did you check to see if you have a text file that has any conversion errors? Did you compare the sequence settings?
What type of media do you have? (format/frame rate/TC type)

Did FCP import theses files first?
PPro handles -native- XDcam files without issues if they were transferred properly.

I followed your link to the MPEG chroma issue… I think I’m a little confused on that as the “show both fields” thing in Premiere Pro should only affect paused frames in the interface (which it appears is where the screen grabs on the Adobe forum are taken from)…it shouldn’t affect the SDI output as far as I know unless there is some strange hardware interaction… That said, I don’t work in PAL and I can’t recall the last time I used interlaced material for anything…
I use Red Giant’s plugin “instant HD” for uprez’ing…of course scaling up interlaced is usually an issue for obvious reasons, so even a sophisticated hardware solution will typically attempt to de-interlace first…
For de-interlacing, I’m not sure where to steer you…I de-interlace HD material I get the has to be integrated into a progressive sequence with the built in option, and don’t really see anything I would define as being substandard…but again, it’s not SD PAL I’m working with so I guess it’s possible something functions differently…

Did you add a clip to the project yesterday?
Chances are that some specific media file has a timecode error (you can see the “timecode” in the message), but if you’ve been working on the project for some time, chances are that the file was imported yesterday, or was put on a timeline yesterday…
If you can identify that clip, try to move it from it’s current spot and relaunch the project and allow that clip to be “missing”…if the project works, then you have your culprit.

What we’re saying is do your edit in progressive and don’t do a PAL DV export…go directly to some kind of a progressive H264 format. (as Ann mentions, there is a preset for YouTube, and a hundred others…)
DV is interlaced…it’s old, it was not great in the days of SD, and it certainly isn’t something to use as a source for an internet upload, where everything is progressive.
Leave your source footage alone and stop worrying about doing all the source conversion and just skip the output to PAL DV…that’s your issue.

Again…what is the format of the sequence…25 fps is only part of the story…HD, OK…interlaced? progressive?
PAL DV is interlaced. If you are exporting to PAL DV, that will be a given. Depending on what your sequence settings are, you may have some odd results…hence my question.

Does GoPro even record interlaced?
If your sequence in 1080p/i then your 720p material will have to be scaled up…you can set up PPro to do this automatically in preferences if you prefer.
If the timeline is 1080i29.97 and you toss some 720p59.94 GoPro footage on there…it may appear interlaced as it will likely try to map each 59.94 frame to a 29.97 field.
As Walter mentioned, you can mix anything you want together and PPro will play it, but you have to know something about all the types of footage you’re starting with so you can decide on the best common image dimension/frame rate to work with…
