Unfortunately there seem to be problems with some drives in this regard. I’ve never had a problem with Seagates, but I have two LaCie drives that are absolutely incurable, though I’ve never seen the problem when using a drive with USB2…only FW.
Microsoft (or someone…can’t recall) has a workaround that MAY help…Google “Delayed Write Failure” for details on device settings.

I guess the exporter will scale a bit better than the importer it would seem from your test.

Yes, very good turn out. I’m surprised Lyn didn’t sell out as I’ve not seen many discounts on the Production Studio just yet…
…and last night it was anything but a “dry cold” in Chicago.
The Tri-State is a strange enough trip at night when conditions are ideal for driving…sleet and freezing rain put considerable pressure on the limited skillset of some drivers…

If your harddrive isn’t full, my guess would be bad media. Take out the clip that is at that point in the timeline and try a test to see if it completes the export…then at least you’d know.
