March 4, 2006 at 3:45 amSeems like a very reasonable deal to me…is there a lense on it?

March 4, 2006 at 3:49 amLet me rephrase…seems like a good deal if there’s a lense. The body lists new for 16,500 which would mean the body alone can probably be bought for something in the neighborhood of 13-14K new from a dealer…
Though it’s been a wildly popular camera and maybe they’re only being sold at list?

March 10, 2006 at 6:28 pmhi,
I just used this camera for a Canadian National Film Board Shoot. We rented from Pluss 8. I was very impressed. It is a very popular camera for the price and a lot of cinematographers seem to like it. Even for $13,000 the price is right. You could probably find another used one for cheaper. With a lense.
Great Filter settings. You can put a small memory card in it for your favorite settings. I was very sceptical at first. If your on a a budget this is a good camera.

March 10, 2006 at 9:47 pmI’m sold for sure on the SDX900 until of course the HCP2000 comes out…
But where do I hunt for a good deal on a used SDX900 and how many drum hours should I consider is too many. I’d like this to work for a good two years AT LEAST! And then to sell it and trade up.
Thanks,
Chris
