    Hi,
Didn’t know there might still be a copyright issue. Basicaly i have a venue with a company logo on the floor that was hired for an event which was filmed. I am editing some clips for eventual sale as mobile phone downloads. As far as i am aware the event has already been televised – so the hiring company must have copyright clearence from the venue owners? I’ve been hired by the Media company providing the mobile phone content and they’ve supplied me with the customer’s footage. So we should be okay!?

    Thanks Steven,
I’ll try it After Effects. Is there a way of blurring the edges of the keyed out and replaced section to blend it more with the floor covering?
    Thanks,
    Tim

    Hi,
sorry – i didn’t explain myself clearly enough. The stills are actually frame-holds from a single frame of standard PAL DV footage.

    Hi Roadkill,
thanks for the help – plenty of food for thought. Time to get experimenting, try a few things and burn a few coasters.

    Hello Steven,
thank you for your offer – i’ll play around with it a bit more and if i’m still bashing my head against the wall i’ll take advantage of your offer.
    Many thanks,

    Hi Roadkill,
thanks for coming back to me (again!). As the still is a single video frame would it be necesary to deinterlace it first? Do you think exporting the single frame as .tif or similar into After Effects then stretching it and re-importing it as an .avi be the way to go? I was hoping there might be an easier way to do this!
    Thanks,
    Tim

    Hi Roadkill,
Slightly bizzare; I tried exporting from Pro via Procoder using Procoder export instead of the export wizard and it now works fine in Encore. I’ll just do it this way.
    Thanks for your suggestions.
