    Hi,
I have some clips of a boxing match that have a logo on the floor of the ring. I need to remove this for a promo which was shot there but it is not the company’s logo. I thought about keying the logo out (it’s mostly white) and putting a colour matte underneath but i can’t find an eye dropper tool for choosing colours. Or possibly some sort of travelling matte but again i’m not sure how to colour match it to the ring floor. I have After Effects but i’m not massivly familiar with it (yet) apart from the basics. Any ideas how i do this?
    Thanks,
    Tim

The eye dropper is available under Chroma Key. Click and hold to drag it to the color you want to replace. The keyer in After Effects is better than in Premiere Pro, and Keylight (comes with AE Pro) is even better than that.

    Thanks Steven,
I’ll try it After Effects. Is there a way of blurring the edges of the keyed out and replaced section to blend it more with the floor covering?
    Thanks,
    Tim

Just off the top of my head, I would say that you would use the chroma key to create a track matte, and then blur the track matte and use it to somehow blend with the surrounding area.
