  • Thanks rohit for your answer.

I am using 10.8.3. Is that an issue ?

I’ll try without one of the 690 but It was working great for weeks with both cards… ?

Is resolve only using 1 card ? (it sees both). Do you think 3×680 would be a better ?

I’ve got exactly the same problem with one only film material.

But I found out the issue appears also in REDCINEX so it’s not a davinci issue.

I contacted RED and they told me it must be related to the way the material was copied the first time from the disk. I think they used a panavision system to backup the files…

    Anyway, it’s very annoying.

It was RED EPIC 5K, RC3 compression

  • Yes, it seems to be the same with all dnxhd files…

September 7, 2011 at 8:49 pm in reply to: render Reels timelines into 1 sequence

Yes I agree with you, but I don t know how to change the frame numbers.
    For instance, my reel one is at 01 00 00 00 and my reel to 02 00 00 00.

And it seems I cannot change thoses numbers after the sequence is created

Thanks but it s not what I meant. I know the target mode.
My concern is to render different timelines into one file.

From a “logical” point of view, the track label should refer to the track of the multitrack. It is I think intellectually disturbing to have a label that says track and that in fact affect the whole project !

I still don’t know how to put my lin titles or effects into log and I though that would be great with this option.

Anyway, I think BM is doing a great job. I hope Apple is not going to ruin everything by announcing the end of the mac pro one day !
For what I see, they are capable of doing so…

I agree this is very useful but I think It’s not logical
Now there is multitrack, the track node should target the selected track.
There could be a “timeline node”

And if you want to apply to the whole projet, it’s easy to copy on all the tracks.

I think it would be a great to have that.
For dailies, you could apply a node for day on track 1 and another for night on track 2 or put the log material on track on with a loglin lut and linear material on track 2 etc…
