Are you going to use a beamer to show the powerpoint presentation? Then I would say just stick to the resolution of the beamer

In the settings for the auto ripple, you can choose how the markers will behave when you edit the events (e.g. whether the markers will also move or not).

Exactly the same way as you added the first track FX.

Or do you mean that you haven’t add an track FX yet? Just click on the track FX button in the trtack header to open the track FX window. Selectl the FX you want to add followed by ADD and when you are done, press OK.

Try this:
Go to OPTIONS-PREFERENCES-tab VIDEO and select ALL for THUMBNAILS TO SHOW IN VIDEO EVENTS

Does that change something?
