No, the .exe file did not ask where to place the vst file. It just placed the vst in the folder from the .exe file (I tried to install it twice). So I placed the vst file manually in the folder with the vst files for Vegas (Vegas recognizes other vst files in the same folder…).

When you switch off the OPTIONS-QUANTIZE TO FRAMES, you can move inbetween frames. However, I don’t know whether that is very useful to do or whether this will or will not interfere with the quality of the rendering. I never tried…

Buying Soundsoap2 is also not an easy option, since the purchase page directs me to a local dealer who doesn’t seems to sell soundsoap2…

Vegas Platinum 9 doesn’t use scripts, so any script-based solution will not work. Another option would be the use of particleIllusion, but that program is also not free. So I can only think of handwork: Fill the lower track with a black solid from the generated media and add your pictures one by one by hand, leaving a gap between 2 pictures. The good thing is that you can make the length of the pictures precisly the length you want by indicating this in the preferences before starting to add them to the timeline.

Thanks. But how do I get Soundsoap Pro to work within Vegas. Just placing the file in the folder with other (audio) vst plugins doesn’t work

The use of Excalibur would be very helpfull (timesaving) in yhis case
