What kind of power (AC or DC) do the power supplies OUTPUT TO the receivers?
What does the power input on the receivers say?
In other words, what voltage, current (amps / milliamps,) and AC or DC do the Receivers themselves run on?
If its DC, you can simply run them directly from batteries, if you connect the batteries with the right kind of plug to fit the jack on the receiver.

Set up the first clip, then just Copy and Paste the ATTRIBUTES onto all of the other clips on that track.

All well and good.
But we are fully back around to the SHOOTER wearing some monitor headsets, as well.
When I’m running the shoot from behind the lens… I am responsible.
I want to HEAR that its right. -
Not so much.
As was said, the audio is AC and the phantom is DC.
The constant DC won’t interact with the audible frequencies of the audio signal.
But adding another AC signal will create harmonics and cross-talk on the both signals.
There is no such thing as a “null” audio frequency signal that can be sent down a long cable… the cable inductance alone will “alter the null” as it travels the length of the wires and make its artifacts severely problematic.
FWIW, you can send an “RF” (radio frequency) signal down the same line as audio (with the proper filtering on either end) but RF is so high in frequency that it won’t add any discernible harmonics to the audio signal.

And since 99.99% of all the BASS is mixed dead-center, IT cancels as well.

But, as I was just wrestling with this the other day,
and I found the quickest way was to select the song (in iTunes),
that you want to import, go up into the “Advanced” setting, select
“Convert Selection to AIFF”…
This duplicates the song as an AIFF.
Drag that converted song to the desktop.
Import it into FCP from the desktop”No need to drag any file (audio, video or still image) to the desktop.
Just click on it inside its folder (right where iot sits) and drag it into thye open FCP Browser.
