Wedding reception shooters love the PD150 and PD170 for their amazing low-light color shooting sensitivity (2 lux and 1 lux, respectively.)
BUT what about the much less sensitive HDV counterparts?
And 24p settings require you add even more light.Will HD / HDV shooters need to carry and light-up with 2-3 times the amount of light they are used to?

1. Capture to another drive, then transfer the files to the drive you want.
2. Use a FireWire hub. (May not work, but it costs very little to try.)
3. For about $50, you can buy a new FireWire case with looping ports and move your drive into it.

Nice.
But I would adjust or remove the sparkler effect at 4:35-4:40.
It makes an “unfortunate” and, I’m sure, unintended disappearance.
