This same problem has happened to me on Mac and Windows 7 with Premiere CS4. Has anyone had much better luck with CS5 or come up with any better solutions?
The red screen has become a constant looming burden that I now wait for to make my life that much tougher. -
Shoot in HD. SD will only limit yourself if you ever want to use the footage later.

Looks like “On Location” might be the best option.

The budget is flexible but <$1000 will guarantee that the purchase will be approved by finance. I’m not sure what size we’ll need; something big enough for two or three people to stand around and view. Pulling focus from the monitor isn’t a must at this point. Thanks,

Hey Ty,
Sorry for keeping you in the dark. We do everything from TV ad spots and promos to documentaries and live event coverage. Finance will pay for odd things and not others… that’s govn’t though. We’re with the Air National Guard 🙂 So while I need to learn all I can about the varying speakers available, they have the ultimate say. Thanks again for all your help everyone! -
