    Hey Everyone,
We’re looking at purchasing a budget-priced field monitor. Any suggestions? Our budget is slightly flexible but low side would be better. We basically need decent screen to look at when filming that’s bigger than what we have on-cam. And while I’m thinking of it, any on-cam monitors that would be good would be really helpful too, thanks,

We don’t know what “low side” means to you? $100? $1000? How big? 7 inch? What do you want to do with it? A cheaper monitor is OK for general observation (like a director’s monitor) but it takes a more expensive model to have high enough resolution to be useful for judging focus, or color, or exposure.

The budget is flexible but <$1000 will guarantee that the purchase will be approved by finance. I’m not sure what size we’ll need; something big enough for two or three people to stand around and view. Pulling focus from the monitor isn’t a must at this point. Thanks,
