How about adding a white border to the stills. Then a flash transition at the beginning. Could look like a photograph being taken. The photo could then be ang.led a little differently. Add a sound effect of a camera shutter.

I saw no flickering white when I viewed the clip on my laptop. But Mikes suggestion is worth checking out raher than just passing it off. It was the same thought that I had. Just readjust the white level and renderout a small segment and see if it helps.

Why do you want to use track motion. Use TM for movinng and P/C for zooming.

If you wannt it to play in a DVD player:
You will need to render the TL out as an MPEG2 Main Concept DVDA compatable video stream and a separate AC3 audio stream. Save them both with the same name (different extension) in the same folder.
Then import one or the other into DVDA. DVDA will automatically grab the other one. Then build your DVD either as a single movie or with menus. -
Have you ‘turned on’ the alpha channel. Right click the event and go to media.

Have you tried the windows search function for the file name? You did name them, right?

Find your ‘fireball emitter’ and select it.
Place your background clip (the ones doing the throwing)
Move foreward in your clip until you want the fireball to appear and place it where desired (ie click in one throwers hand)
Adjust the size of the fireball as desired. Using the arrow keys walk your video forward one frame at a time. As the hand of the thrower moves forward move the fireball to match creating keyframes at each interval. Move forward several frames and move fireball to catchers hand. The more frames you move the slower the throw. This is the basics. Adjust to suit taste. -
Vegas does not burn to or author DVDs. For that you need an authoring app such as DVD Archetect. But you will need to render your program as MPEG2 to get it to DVD.
If you have ever registered your Sony programs they will be listed on your account page at Sony along with the serial numbers for reinstalling. -
Just read on another forum about someone having his media show up as “off line’. He reinstalled the software and cleared it up.
