AVI Files were working, Now they are Not
I have an issue with AVI videos no longer showing up. I didn’t realize until now that AVI is technically not supported which really seems kind of crazy since it is one of the most common formats out there. And why can you export to WMV but it isn’t a supported import format?
Well AVI was importing correctly to Vegas 9 and I created some movies rendered them in different formats, all was working well. Then for some strange reason the next morning when I opened up Vegas after shutting down the pc, the AVI videos are no longer showing up and I haven’t changed a darn thing.
Maybe it is a simple fix but I have read about everything I could possibly find on this issue and they were all downloading codecs and what not which I have already done. Installed them, didn’t work, uninstalled them etc.
Is there a simple fix here or does AVI simply not compatible? I am at a loss?
I appreciate any help anyone can afford to give me.
BTW downloaded K-Lite, and all the other one’s people recommend on here and other places. I am just wondering if it is some sort of setting. I just don’t get why it did work and now it doesn’t?
