Looking at your time to render, you have not mentioned if you checked your settings. One of the big time hogs is accidentally changing the sliders in the track header from default (ie 99% opacity). One that I personally found when my renders suddenly started taking forever was that when a new track was created it was in 3D alpha compositing mode. Whyit started doing this all of a sudden I still don’t know but I found a preference setting to change the default back. Make sure everything in the track header is normal (or at least where you want it.

Thats the way. Can save with entire clips or shortened clips with 2sec head and tail.

In DVDA on “Prepare” – do NOT burn in it. Burn the file with Nero or something similar. You will get much better results. Frankly, DVDA should be given away in boxes of Cracker Jacks.
How do you burn a DVDA prepared file in Nero. Steps please?

Could be just the way it is showing up when played from the timeline due to system limitations. Try doing a Ram render of a small section and see what that looks like.

You can use the scrolling text preset but I find that a bit user unfriendly.
Probably the best way is to use track motion or pan and crop to move your text from off the screen below to off the screen above. The length of your event would control the speed of the scroll.

I routinely use Excalibur to do thatbut I think you can do it by the standard Windows method of holding down the left mouse button and drawing a box around all the events you want to move (thus selecting them) and then moving them.

Actually I think that you could put on a set of headphones and play the song. Then sing it yourself and record your voice. You have the headphones so that you can sing the lyrics at the right time (as per the original sound). Then lipsynch your project to your voice recording. Then totally replace your voice recording with the original sound. Should work.
