Thanks. I found the answer through google.
Well, the manual doesn;t trell you and there is no menu ioption on the F500 for “frequency”
However Jon Thorn from AJA has a page that tells you everthing.

Itb has not gone to audio.

The projcet needs to go from 30 to 24 not the other way around.

Could you tell me the work-flow with Cinematools?

The project is going 24p HD then out to film.

I will do an experiment using your suggestion.

Well, it uses mpeg 2but it needs to be expoted out of FCP to become a file that can easily be made into a dvd. I think It will have to be compressed again to make it useable size for a 4gb DVD disc.
