There are a lot of formats that are great, but all bets are off when they are uploaded to the internet because of the reasons stated in my last post.

Yep. Optical Flow is neat if your footage is pretty chill to begin with. If you have some high action party shots it can create these weird artifacts because it doesn’t know what to do. The other interpolation methods might not be so high quality but they work better with all kinds of footage.

What you need is motion blur and adding that can be time consuming and/or costly depending on the plugin. We use RE:Vision’s Reelsmart.

Yeah. Give up. It’s not happening at the moment. Basically browser video playing is a bit of a mess and you will get different results in different operating systems and different video services. IF you could lock this down to a single service, browser and OS you could probably create an offset LUT or correction so it will look the same when viewed exactly on that but that’s pretty much it.
Also Quicktime Player is notoriously bad with color accuracy.

By shooting in 1/60 shutter speed. Aka. the 180 degree shutter angle “rule”. You get some motion blur in so the footage won’t look as “fake”.

Well… Did you change the speed? And what time interpolation method did you use? Because this really looks like a motion artifact like I said before. Higher quality time interpolation is not a soft effect so you won’t see it unless you render out or render a preview. Also it will not show up everywhere.
What is the format of the original footage? What are your sequence settings and what are your exact export settings?

Are you using Twixtor or some other kind of slow motion/frame blending? Looks like a motion artifact to me.
