A LUT is a conversion matrix from one value to another and it will hold overall color changes to an image. It won’t keep masks, sharpen/blur, effects (that don’t affect colors) and other tools that don’t actually change the values of the colors.
If you don’t need to use your grades outside Resolve you can save a still to your gallery and that will have the node tree with everything you’ve done.

When you apply a LUT it will not show you the change it does in your tool values.

When you click the timecode field you’re entering the timecode. Instead of that select the clip, press numpad +, enter the value, press enter.

Depends on the shot. There’s Mocha Pro with the remove module and if the lighting doesn’t change much one could track in a clean patch over the belly.

This is a bad idea as the viewer image can be inaccurate. Also if one wants to export a still for, let’s say making a clean plate, one will want it to match exactly to the footage without extra aliasing or other shifts.

If you have clips selected they will be moved instead of the playhead.

Or grab a still and export it out.

You can enable the work area bar from the timeline panel menu. Click on the three lines next to the sequence name.
