Histogram really isn’t the best way to compare if there’s been any changes. That said: depending on the source/delivery file format and possible compression there can be slight changes that will show up on scopes but you can’t actually, really see them.

You’re probably exporting it as individual clips which is usually only used in roundtrip workflows.

Like a Wacom Mobilestudio? They are really expensive and if there are any hardware issues you’ll need to replace or repair the whole thing. They are pretty neat though.

A newer iPad with a pencil will cost more than a Wacom. Also you will be limited by the apps available.

Do you want to grade or edit? If you want to edit then go with Premiere. If you want to grade then use Resolve, because Lumetri is terrible. Usually the workflow is that someone edits in Premiere and then the edit is brought in Resolve for finishing.

XAVC uses H264. You’ll need the studio version if you want to use those files.

Are you using the free version or the Studio version? The free version does not support 10-bit H264 formats.

They added a srgb/rec709 choice in the color management settings at some point that changed the gamma a bit in some projects.
