Thanks a lot Paul. I know Photoshop is an option but I thought it would be easier to make the changes within Avid without having to jump between two different applications. I know that a friend of mine can type in Arabic, she said she has TitleDeco Pro which has a plug in for Avid that allows it to type right to left.
I’ve downloaded TitleDeco… but still have the same problem

    any ideas?

there used to be also a very simple program that I worked with once whcih you copy and paste your text from into Avd title tool and Avid sees it as a picture so it works fine with Hebrew and Arabic, but I cant remember what that program is called!!

Hi Rafael, thanks for your reply
ProRes is still 1080, and my problem is that the media was shot in mainly LS (especially interviews) so that we could change the frame size in post production when working with a 1080 in a 720 frame size
if I down convert I will lose the whole concept of the quality when resizing the frame, and if I don’t down convert and work in 720 i will look bad quality. and there is no point in working 1080 since we are exporting SD
    any idea what to do?

    hey Andy
you are right, I have to move some media from the drive to another to free up some space.
I am connected to the network, that how I communicate and exchange files with other users. I have 80GB left on my Main hard drive (startup disk)
I ran the system update last night, everything seems to be the latest.
I just had a new error which I never had before
FCP crashed while rendering my sequence I and got a “problem may be caused by prographics plug in”
