Thanks. Not sure about missing Motion templates but I did just check the index and I see the offending files but they are the same clips I removed and replaced. They are all CAnon 60D clips. If I go back to the event window where are the raw clips are those do not appear. They only appear in the index.

I actually did a lot of research on the AMD 7970 and its Sapphire equivalent. The Mid 2010 has the power inputs to handle the 7970 but if I want to of them then I’ll need to remove both optical drives and buy some splitters and go that route or buy another power supply and run cables through pcie slot openings. I was really experimenting with different cards and took some gambles mixing the 5770 with the 7970. If I decide to get another 7970 I’ll wait until next year. Price should drop quite a bit so I can get one plus a power supply. I need this Mid 2010 to go for another two years or so and then jump to a new iMac or Darth Vader Mac Pro.

yeah I’ve read and heard that prior to Yosemite. I’m sure its the same but I’ll probably post this on the Apple hardware site as well. Just wishful thinking on my end with different cards becasue the $500 investment sucks when the card dies after two months. Really wanting to make this AMD 7970 work and wondering if I’m doing something wrong. I’ll probably just get another ATI 5770 and go with two of those.

February 28, 2014 at 10:24 pm in reply to: Cuda Update

I”m in the same boat with an AMD Radeon HD 7970, which I’m not understanding why it needs Nvidia CUDA drivers, but I get the alert telling me an update of my CUDA drivers is required, but none of the buttons like Install CUDA update are working and a message underneat says, “no newer cuda driver available.” Premiere crashes, I get flickering and flashing and reboots. So, either my new card is dying or these drivers are causing serious issues.

the mp3 had an underscore in the title. i removed it and uploaded the new version with a shorter name. still gave the error. i took them out completely and got a clean build. and yes, builds for folders and images worked fine regardless of music or file length names. this was just a flash build error. so what about using .wav files?

Figured it out but still odd. I have music playing for each menu. They are mp3 files. If I remove the mp3 files then the flash build proceeds without error. I’ve placed music before. Weird. Thanks

Has to be something else. My original files are just Contact.psd and Main.psd. All resaved. Restared Encore and still only this error when trying to build a Flash version. Error doesn’t occur when building DVD folders or Disc Images.
