Hi,
I think you just answered to your question. But what for you need the sales rep? If you are not after the linux-version, then just buy the software and use it. Make sure, that you read the tech requirements though before running it.
Nucoda is a bit different “animal”.. you need huge revenue to keep it profitable. Do your math.

Hmm,
I think that FCP text is not supported, because Clipster can’t read FCP plugins. Clipster has OpenFX plug-in interface, whereas FCP has it’s own. OpenFX-compatible host applications are also Nuke & Fusion.
The only solution would be to export an animation-QT.mov (with alpha) or some sort of sequence, I’m afraid. -

Here’s some information about Prores and QT :

export it using different codecs. Test PAL/601
and HD/709 color spaces separately and RGB.
If you do not have scope – use Photoshop and measure
certain points in gradients -export stills from every
application you are using. Time consuming, but at least you know
what’s going on and where the problems might be.Tanel

Hei,
Adtoox requirements are here: https://ecexpress.adtoox.com/help/data/Robohelp/!SSL!/WebHelp/File_Technical_Specification.htm
You have to simply export Standard definition 720×576 interlaced video in full frame 16:9 format (FHA) compressed with MPEG2 4:2:2 I frame only compression at 30 Mbps (4:2:2Profile@ MainLevel), and uncompressed wave interleaved 24 bit stereo audio at 48kHz.
Create an user account at adtoox.com and you can test your files also there, you can upload your MPEG-2 and the system does the checking (scopes, audio loudness etc) and sends back the information.
Do not forget to format your spot as follows:
The top:
7 seconds of identifier* (175 frames)
3 seconds of black and silence (75 frames)Each commercial shall also include a tail of 20 seconds formatted as follows:
20 seconds of black and silence (500 frames)* Identifier information:
Advertiser
Brand
Title
Length (i.e. the commercial length in seconds, excluding identifier and black frames before and after the commercial). The identifier is the standard indentifier you use normally, when doing betas or Dbetas.
So, it is easy to deliver your spot, just follow the quidlines.
You can use Adobe suite or Apple Compressor to compress your spot – works fine.

Hi,
Try to say in AF Interpret footage advanced tab, that your incoming footage is Rec709
and do not use project settings or keep it in default sRGB. You have to create new adjustment layer
with Effects/Color Correction/Level and clip black at 13 and white at 253 level in 8bit project
if your footage has to be EBU compliant. So, AF will do the conversion from Rec709 to sRGB and
you can export from RGB to Quictime yuv from there. That should give you correct output gamma level.

December 18, 2009 at 10:37 pm in reply to: Jittery video when burn to DVD – field problemHi there,
Sounds like you have aliase problems,
professional post-production houses have tools for this kind of problems, you are not going to fix in
Premiere, sorry.try to open your rendered file in After Effects and take a look at it – you can try to export short mpeg2 clip from After Effects using Effect/Blur & Sharpen/Reduce Interlace flicker filter. 0.6 – 1.0 usually is enough for PAL. But this blurs vertically your whole picture. You can also try Final Cut Pro with aliase filter.
Also, to de-interlace your video in After Effects, use Interpret footage/lower fields option (for matrox avi) or https://www.revisionfx.com/products/fieldskit/ plug-in, this gives you the best results.
Best flicker filter on the planet would be the Digital Vision DVO Brickwall filter, if you can get your hands on it… but I doubt you will.
