Scrolling credits that look good when downconverted
Hello-
I am finishing up a feature for my client and I am creating a scroll for the end of the film in 1080i59.94 HD. The scroll looks great in HD. I am using the rate of 120 pixels/second as I do in NTSC but the NTSC downconversion still flickers. Does anyone have any tips about creating an HD 1080i scroll that can downconvert nicely or should I just create a new project file in After Effects in an NTSC project file and insert the new render into the Digi-Beta tape?

Why don’t you just do the scroll in your NLE?
Why are you downconverting to SD?
