I did find it when i brought the media into Audition but it was not showing up in premiere.

so here is the answer throw our preferences and it works.

we have narrowed the problem to be with windows media player. it’s able to play on pc’s in other dvd players but not windows media.

this is our problem at the moment:
We are testing it on a vista with windows media player and no dvds will play.
A client able to play it on a windows xp in media player but is not able to hear the audio
and a second client using windows 7 is not able to play at all.

were in compressor is the wmv format located?

We are allowed to use is since it is licensed to us and we are a post production company. What i was saying i would use compressor but we are trying to get the plug in for Flip for Mac to work since it takes less time and that is our preference. I am just trying to fix this problem.

i would do that but i am doing this for an office so i need to get the plugin to work. thanks for the advice though.
