you can install cs5 directly and you will need to enter cs4 & cs5 serial numbers

the sandybridge processors in your I7 generate a lot of heat by design so those temps are quite normal.

im a current fcp7 user learning premier pro and have a question. when i razor the end of clip A, beginning of clip B and ripple delete the razored ends of the clips the playhead doesn’t snap in between the 2 newly edited clips. i like this feature on fcp but cant get it work on premier pro.

ive set my keyboard short cut for Go To Next Edit to Down Arrow and have the track selected but its still not working. any suggestions?

i would start off by making sure your footage codec and your timeline codec are the same.
