Thanks for the link. But, that shows you how to do it on FCP. I’ve been trying to do it on Avid.

I’m not dragging MXF files to Pluraleyes. I import AAF files into Pluraleyes. But if I import WAV files into my Media Composer, it automatically creates the MXF. And, if I export my sequence as an AAF, so that it can be imported into Pluraleyes, isn’t it almost the same as as dragging the MXF?

I have a question about an unrelated topic.
When I’m importing WAVs, it automatically creates a MXF file. Is that supposed to happen? I’m not even sure what a MXF file is supposed to do. But, it seems like my Pluraleyes doesn’t work well with MXF files.

I’m transcoding to DNxHD 175 10-bit. Will that work?

Actually, that’s what I did first. I didn’t do any of the AMA stuff then. Somehow, Pluraleyes doesn’t take AAF files with DNxHD clips because when I made another AAF with non-transcoded MOV files straight from the camera, it worked.

Thanks guys. Precision tool works for most of the situations. Zoom also works but generally, I don’t like zooming in and out of things that much.

If I am using comma and period or shift-comma and shift-period, I’m using trimming 1 or 5 frames at a time right?
Isn’t there real-time trimming. Let’s say while I’m playing a video, and I want it to trim at the spot where I press a button, isn’t there this function?
