Thanks Steve, almost worked it out, Been using Moca to rota and its doing a good job! Stupid question but how do i reverse it? Spent last few hours trying to work it out and not got too far with it. I have moved the frame and tried to draw another line to show AE to go around it but no actual luck with it 🙁

The Roto effect in AE is there any over ride that can be used? See the sample video https://content.bitsontherun.com/videos/NVWLkHS3-aOUCj4uc.mp4 you will note there are a few logo’s still shown on the new background. In AE when I roto it creates the frame and when I try and draw over where i dont want it to draw nothing seems to change see https://oi51.tinypic.com/20v1bty.jpg Im wondering is there any way I can alter it or something?

Thanks Steve, I just tried some roto and its almost halfway there.

The staff member was set to do seated and they changed the plans which really didnt go down well with the staff member. I should be getting the full interview in which he is more still I understand 🙂

i was just doing some googling and noticed a batch of Canon EF-S 55 mm – 250 mm F/4.0-5.6 II IS Lens going for £90 thinking any good? as oppose to the 55-200 tamron and sigma does have IS on them for an extra £30 in essence.

Thanks Steve I really appreciate your reply. Has given me something to think about. Thinking I will order a monopod. Im thinking we are going to need to get a better seat closer to stage for events as otherwise would be too far away. I’m thinking are any of them lens any good and which would you get for a short zoom? In thinking split lens ie 55-200 as have 18-55 already or 18-135? What would you suggest

Probably does either custom made or available in China. You probably wont find in your local store, as its not something the typical consumer wants.

Now trying to sort the errors in the interview by the OP, considering scrapping the clip as its been done so poor and just leave it as a loss.

Thanks for your advise the unsharp did give a good results combined with the Colin McQuillan’s advise to use oft edge elliptical mask i might have just have made it slightly more usable

I set a elliptical mask but shaped it around the subjects face, i did try using the 200 value which did work well and gave me a look of https://bit.ly/yV1U4O however it did not see natural. So i mask and used the unsharp on the talent at 89 and 6 as the radius which gave me https://bit.ly/yoaVHs or https://bit.ly/yRTPqQ(Raw file 54mb) which shows the talent but with a very faint line around where the 2 images overlap.

If you can think anything else that may help please feel free to suggest. Makes me wish i was there to stop this disaster as the subject was an actor and flew over so we were only going to get one chance at it.
