Remove Background Advert Board?
Hi Guys, basically on the weekend we were at an event and were to interview some of the guests, the plan was for it to be a sat down interview but for some reason the pr company choose to move it to a wall board full of adverts 🙁 Now The subject moves a little in the actual interview which is shot in HD and the wall board is white. What I am looking to do is keep the subject but remove the wall board.
I have tried ultra key in adobe premiere but I cant seem to get rid of the logo’s, if anything it changes the wall board from a grey to a bright white. I have attached a sample clip in which he does move alot but in the main clip he is more still.
Any idea how i can remove the background board at all? If someone wants to have a play i have uploaded a sample clip to https://streem.uk.to/files/861_g174x/MVI_1415.MOV and also added screengrab of the footage to show what i mean here https://oi45.tinypic.com/9lfi86.jpg
I was considering maybe create a photoshop image with the screengrab and where the logo’s are create a few small layers and cover with a similar colour to overlap?

If you have after effects, I suggest using the rotobrush inside that program from what I’ve seen of your samples. I don’t think anything in Premiere is suitable for the task.

Also, it crossed my mind that you may want to read any agreements/media passes to make sure you aren’t breaking any agreements by removing sponsor logos. Exposure like this for sponsors is the incentive for sponsoring such events. You wouldn’t want to jeopardize your relationship with the PR company.
You may consider some kind of vignette for the background after brightening your subject. This would minimize the distraction of the logos while keeping them visible if you do indeed have some contractual obligation to keep them.

The Roto effect in AE is there any over ride that can be used? See the sample video https://content.bitsontherun.com/videos/NVWLkHS3-aOUCj4uc.mp4 you will note there are a few logo’s still shown on the new background. In AE when I roto it creates the frame and when I try and draw over where i dont want it to draw nothing seems to change see https://oi51.tinypic.com/20v1bty.jpg Im wondering is there any way I can alter it or something?
