Here is the thing. I know not a drop about motion graphics theory or motion graphics. I am one who always wants to know the who’s, what, where, when and why. I always want to know the theory behind certain concepts. I am trying to fiddle around with AE with little result. I am halfway through creating motion graphics with after effects, blah blah. I do understand film theory. Using that, I can say that the razamadazz in this quicksilver commercial is not so much interconnecting 3d space as much as using the human brain and eyes to get the viewer to believe this is all connceted(leading lines, mass/color in motion). The only thing I don’t understand(and started a post about it once to no avail) is how do you get the camera to transition from one comp to another with no visable seam??????

Good place to ask this question. So if I get a regular tv with s-video and plug it into my graphics card, is the picture going to at least be clear? I tried once getting a modulator that went s-video to the modulator, out through cable into a regular t.v. and the picture was almost unrecognizable.

I am in the process of reading creating motion graphics with after effects. I’m on the lights chapter.
What you speak of, is it after effects in production?

    Thanks for the reply.

Actually my comformed audio/render preview files are on my external as well.
Not using any outside programs. Capture straight from camera/card to external using p.pro only.
Logic would tell me, yes there is a limit of some sort. If you guys can’t figure it out, then it must not be something I can change in preferences or settings anywhere.
    Strange? So far to me..yes.

formatted as ntsc-c: drive =10 gigs or so.
I did play and hit record and recorded all the clips that way.
Still have 115 gigs or so left. 8.9 hours of video.
    Very strange.
