    thanks for your reply!! I have The FCP rescue software – its great!
    Appreciate your advice re: mono-mix in FCP via center panning BUT: even with that, the output-ed .aiff file via Compressor to DVD StudioPro3 STILL gives a stereo (Left= voice, Right = music) split!!
    It ignores the Panned audio selections in FCP!! weirdness….

    Trinty, will try your nesting idea and post results here-
    anyone else??
    this has GOT to be a common problem?! Is it just my system doing this??
