March 5, 2011 at 4:41 pm in reply to: DNxHD and Avid MediaFiles directory?

    Hi Jamie and others,

My resolve do have some problems reading/finding the mxf-files. The destination is found but the browser cannot see the files. And, they are holding the DNxHD codec. I have the DNxHD-update installed on the system.
I guess resolve needs the database-files in the same folder? That is not possible because when I trancode the raw mxf-files from Avid (could be shot on dvcproHD, p2, XDCAM etc) Avid do not make new database-files that can be placed in the directory. It only gives me mxf-files (DNxHD) without databasefiles. And those are not readable in Resolve.
    Am I missing something?

    Stig

    Hi,

So you did put the red rocket card back in a 4 lane slot and it worked fine?
It tells me everytime I open RedCine X that it requires 8 lanes.

  • Hi, did you figure this out?
