Using a Red Rocket card with Resolve 7.1 Requires an Updated Red Rocket Driver
I’ve heard of a few issues now where people using Red Rocket cards found that after the Resolve 7.1 update, that the Red Rocket appears not to be working. When you update to Resolve 7.1, you need to update to the latest Red Rocket card driver. The latest Red Rocket Mac installer package that I am aware of (and that we’ve tested) is RED_Rocket_Installer_v1.3.5c.zip. But you should probably check the Red site in case something newer becomes available.
Also, if you are using Red Rocket with other applications, I don’t know what the possible ramifications are to those apps of upgrading the Red Rocket driver. Caution may be advised.

let me add few more things ones i get the 12 core machine it doesnt show in my machine with older driver(1.1.4.0) when i install the latest version of rr it says your firmware and your driver is out of dated (0.0.0.0) need latest version (1.1.4.0) i am not able to understand what driver i have to install and what firmware required is this the problem of leopard and snow leopard because my older machine ruining on leopard
Please help me to get rid of this couple of project on hold

I’m not sure I exactly follow what you are saying. You need the 1.3.5 Red Rocket driver, and I think that will come with the firmware updater app, and the firmware needs to be in the 1.1.10.x range.
We are not expert at Red Rocket support, so if you are having issues updating the card, it might be best to contact Red, or whoever you purchased the Red Rocket card from.Dwaine Maggart
