You know, it might be easier to interpret the footage, then use “remember interpretation”. It doesn’t look as if your situation is covered in the interpretation rules.
From the help:
To apply Interpret Footage settings to several footage items:
1. In the Project window, select the item whose footage interpretations you want to apply.
2. Choose File > Interpret Footage > Remember Interpretation.
3. Select one or more footage items.
4. Choose File > Interpret Footage > Apply Interpretation. After Effects applies the footage interpretation options to the selected items.Hope that helps,

I’m no expert, but Java is not Javascript.
Javascript will help you write detailed expressions, not Java, as far as I know.

Draw a mask that follows the desired path, then apply Effect>Render>Vegas. Tweak to suit.

Look for the “interpretation rules.txt” file in your AE folder. You can alter the rules there.

Look in the output module and set the compressor to “none”.
